When silence speaks

When silence speaks, words lose their power. When silence pervades, peace invades. When silence tugs at your thoughts, you know you have found tranquility.

When silence prevails, keep talking to yourself too often. When you don’t get answers for the questions you ask from others, keep asking them from yourself. Silence has answers to the questions that can’t be answered with words.
When silence prevails, be thankful for the fact that your senses are sharp enough to capture its message. Even if you are someone who cannot live without music constantly playing in your iPod, silence tempts you to its own melodies. It can inspire you; other times, it can shred you into pieces.
When silence prevails, be a poet or a painter. Drown your worries in it. When silence greets you, greet yourself with a cup of hot chocolate. Silence will tell you why you were running away, when your dream kept chasing after you. Then you will realize that all this while, you have been on the right route, heading toward the right direction- only driving the wrong vehicle.
When silence prevails you will realize that one phase of life is over and the next phase is about to begin. Snug in the silence before sinking in the hustle and bustle waiting to greet you.
When silence prevails, feel the sense of dominance it gives you, that air will hear only your voice, and only your foot-steps will echo in the empty house. Having the house for yourself will make you feel like a queen for a day. That is when silence works its magic!
Silence will make you realize that you have attained maturity. When the whole world screams at you, you will be able to hold hands with silence and keep your serenity. You will realize that, gracefulness is when you can tolerate what you couldn’t tolerate earlier and keeping your cool, when the ones around you boiling with rage.
If you are comfortable with silence, without fearing of a storm then you know, you have made peace with yourself.
